1 ? cups chicken stock
1 ? cups Maxigenes Goat milk, premade
1 medium broccoli head, cut into florets
1 onion, peeled and chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 tbsp. butter
1 potato, chopped
2 tbsp. plain flour
Pinch of nutmeg
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup cheese, optional
Heat butter in a saucepan, add the onions and garlic and saut until softened.
Add the flour and cook on low heat for 2 minutes.
Place the broccoli and potato in the saucepan, then pour in the chicken stock and milk, bring it to the boil.
Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the broccoli is soft.
Puree the mixture, then add seasonings.
Add cheese if desired and stir until melted, then serve.
